The spring hairstyles you’re about to see everywhere

Just as a breakup can inspire some big hair changes, so does dumping winter and moving on to brighter days. So why not embrace the change in season with a change in hairstyle?
Clive Allwright, Global Artistic Director of Muk Haircare and co-owner of Our Place salon in Potts Point, has filled us in on the hottest new cuts spring has in store for us, so we can head straight to the hairdresser armed with all the hair-spiration we need.

The curly fringe
Ideally suited to those with natural ringlets, the curly fringe is very on-trend this spring. Fringes have long been reserved for those with straight hair, but face-framing curls can be just as flattering. If you’re not game enough to try the full front fringe, you can embrace the style in a more low-key way by cutting a subtle side fringe.
The 70s-inspired shag fringe
The bedhead bob
The ethos of this year's hairstyle trends seems to be ‘effortless’, which is embodied perfectly by the bedhead bob. A twist on the bob cut that’s been on trend all year long, Clive says this version is to be ‘as messy as possible’. Ideal for anyone looking to save time on styling - you can roll straight out of bed and embrace the ‘undone’ look.
Would you try any of these out?

Love the shag fringe, would definitely give this a go if my hair was a bit thicker.

Love the bed hair bob! Curly fringes aren't the best look for me, but if you can pull it off well done!

I don't mind a fringe, had one for many years but keeping it in tip top shape was a challenge. I used to cut it myself between hairdresser visits and never got it right. In the meantime, I grew it out and just have a bob.....without a fringe.

I havent had a fringe in years. They were always so annoying. I would get one and then straight away want to grow it out again.

I hate the curly & shaggy fringe's but overall I don't like curly short hair like this one. I love the bedhead bob & the model in the pic is beautiful too :)

Love the idea of the 70s fringe but my hair is quite curly so I would have to style it to achieve this every day.

Love the messy bed head bob/lob though think it’s harder to achieve the perfect mess than it looks!
