The Becca Backlight Priming Filter is a super light, creamy formulation that can cover your full face in just one or two small pumps. Smoothing out your skins texture and leaving behind a subtle dewy finish, it doesn't leave your skin feeling like it has anything on.
I trialled this product in combination with the under eye corrector and the Light Shifter Concealer and was pleasantly surprised by the effect of dewy glowing skin. I am not the type to EVER leave the house without a full face, but with these products I may OCCASIONALLY feel comfortable with a more lightweight look (baby steps!). Even though I have liked using this primer, it isn't a 5 stars for me and I probably would not re-purchase because I tend to use this base step (primer or BB cream) as a way to add in my extra layer of SPF each day. If I was to work this into my routine it would have to be for evening looks or winter work days when I wasn't as worried about the UV rating! Still a good product though.

I absolutely love the glow that the Back Light Primer Filter provides my skin . Out of all of the illuminating primers that I’ve tried, this is not only one of the most radiant, but also the most ‘lit from within’ glow. I encourage my family and friends to buy this product because the Back Light Primer Filter has an amazing finishing effect. I apply this to my skin every day and it seems to last all day without fail, which is pretty amazing, i apply it to my mainly areas such as: cheekbones, bridge of the nose and forehead before foundation. Also, applying this as last step of base makeup before foundation made it more standout. At the same time, it also made my makeup last for a long time. No chunks of glitter, convenient in a pump, does not make my pores visible at all! Very nice product!

By far this I think is the best primer I have ever tried- and I have tried a lot! Cannot begin to explain how great this primer feels!

It comes in a luxe matte glass cylinder pump bottle and you get 30mL. A little goes a long way so you just need a small pump and it smells amazing!

You can instantly see it softening the appearance of fine lines and just gives your skin a beautiful glow. I have oily/combination skin and initially thought it may be too shiny for my skin but it settled perfect. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth and it's the best base for my foundation (and on it's own I love it that much, gives my skin a natural looking glow!).

I found this product to even out my skin tone and brighten however I haven't found my foundation lasts any longer by using the product.

Let me preface this review by saying I've never been the biggest fan of primers. I've never found one that actually made a difference with my makeup. The Back Light Primer Filter has completely changed my mind.

The product claims to blur imperfections and give your skin a radiant glow which it definitely does. I found that you can wear this alone without foundation to give your skin a beautifully dewy, diffused and glowy finish. It's perfect for hot summer days when you want to skip foundation.

This primer has a fresh, luxe scent that isn't overpowering. The texture is lovely too. It feels hydrating like a light moisturiser and absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving you with the perfect canvas for applying makeup. The primer is a neutral color with a pearlescent finish, just the right amount of glow without shimmer or glitter. It's beautiful mixed into foundation for a more luminous finish too.

The packaging is perfect. It feels luxurious and has a pump dispenser which I appreciate for hygiene reasons. The cap stays on firmly so you don't need to worry losing it (which I do frequently with other products, especially in my handbag).

I experimented with this product and several different foundations. It improved the application, longevity and overall radiance of my makeup with all the formulas I tested it with. You only need a small amount so the bottle would last you a long time. I use two pumps before foundation or one pump when I'm mixing it into my base.

I feel as though my skin looks younger and more radiant whenever I use this and it's going to be a staple in my makeup routine. I would highly recommend trying this primer, even if you were a non believer like I was because it has been a game changer for me. Becca has nailed it with this one.

This primer is magic! It looks like a highlighter but it isn't, it made my skin look so good! I received so many compliments from my husband and he never really takes notice of my makeup but this time he did, so it must be good. This primer from becca blurs your imperfections but not too much, and makes for a perfect application of foundation. I moisturise before application and then applied with my hands, I blended it in with a brush afterwards to make sure it was on properly, and boy! I looked so good, probably the best primer I have ever used and I even tried one that nearly cost more then my weekly wage. I have tried alot! And this one is the best ever, I will definitely be repurchasing this one, when it runs out. Price wise, I think it's definitely worth the price because as I said earlier, I've tried primers more expensive and it didn't do half as good as this beautiful product.

I have used many primers in my time and have never found one that can help reduce the appearance of my pores - until now! This beautiful silky and slightly tinted primer is glowy on the skin. Makeup glides on over the top but is then held in place. The best part of this product for me is that once my foundation is applied my pores appear smaller which is something I’ve never found in a primer before! I will definitely continue to use this product and re-purchase once I’m finished with this bottle although that may be awhile as I only need one pump to cover my face and I would estimate there to be close to 100 pumps worth if not more in one bottle.
The tint in this product is also worth mentioning as I have used it on weekends just as a brightening BB cream product to give me a natural tanny glow.

I adore this primer! The packaging is beautiful and luxurious and the product inside matches perfectly.

The primer is lightweight, hydrating and extremely glowy. It really does make skin look super luminous and juicy and healthy. I often found myself wearing is on my cheekbones on days I didn’t wear any other makeup to enhance my skin and have it look alive and fresh.

This primer definitely helped my makeup stay on longer and I found my makeup looked better as the day went on. I have normal and slightly dehydrated skin and I think this suits it perfectly. For anyone with dry skin this is a dream. I’m unsure how it will work for oily skin as it is incredibly glowy however it may work well with a matte foundation and they would balance each other out really well.

This is a beautiful primer!

The product is dispensed through a pump bottle, with a couple of pumps required to prime my face. The formula is silky smooth leaving a glowing finish to my face. The scent of the product is very refreshing, smelling very much like cucumbers which has been a very cooling when applying during the warmer months!

Since being on this Trial Team, I have noticed my skin is less oily which means my makeup has kept a lot longer during the working day. I love primers and I truly think my skin has stayed put, shine free and oil free because the primer has worked it's magic.

I have found because the primer has created a beautiful base for my foundation application, that I am wearing a lot less as my base, topping my face with bronzer and blush to highlight my key features.

This Trial Team has really blown me away with the quality of the becca products, and it's because of this opportunity that these products have heavily influenced moving forward what I will be purchasing. I cannot wait to see and play with the other products becca has to offer.

I'd never found a primer that I would even consider wearing alone without foundation until I discovered this primer. It looks absolutely stunning on the skin and gives a really nice but also natural glow, rather than many other primers on the market that intend to do the same thing, however leave your face looking like a disco ball or feeling like an oily mess.

No matter what coverage of foundation I use, whether it be light or medium or even matte or dewy, it leaves my skin looking super radiant and healthy.

In terms of wear time, I found my face looking absolutely flawless after an entire day, even in my usual problem areas such as the t-zone. The formula also helped to reduce the appearance of my pores, which is something I certainly didn't expect from this formula, which was an amazing surprise.

The formula also isn't too thick, meaning it doesn't conflict with the foundation as you're applying over top.
